Noble Mind

May 8, 2020

Here we chat with Ann Biasetti about embodiment, self compassion, and disordered eating. Ann specializes in eating disorder treatment, but we found her wisdom relevant to anyone wondering about their own eating habits, self-destructive behaviors, or relationship with their body.

Ann has been a psychotherapist for 27 years. She has a PhD in Psychology and is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker. Her book, Befriending Your Body: A Self-Compassionate Approach to Freeing Yourself from Disordered Eating, was released through Shambhala Publications in August 2018.

Noble Mind is a podcast exploring mindfulness, meditation, and psychology. In each episode, hosts Alex Gokce, MSW, and Katherine King, PsyD host inspiring conversations with psychologists, authors, and other thought leaders seeking real world wisdom you can bring into daily life.
